Abstract: Abstract A control unit for creating a synthetic twin using atleast one annotation in a real data and a method thereof. The control unit 10 receives a two dimensional image 12 from an user of the control unit 10. The contorl unit 10 then generates a three-dimensional (3D) point cloud representation of the received image 12 using depth map from an image processing unit 14 and performs semantic segmention on the received image for identifying different objects and regions in the image12 by a semantic segmentation unit 16. The control unit 10 then constructs a world layout file 18 based on the semantic segmantic of the image and the created 3D point cloud. The control unit 10 then creates the synethic twin 11 which is a replica of the received 3D image from the constructed world layout file 18 being fed to a game engine unit 20. (Figures1 & 2)
