The control system (200) comprises a control unit (202) connected to a remote user interface (201) through a plurality of wireless communication channels (203A, 203B, 203C). The control unit (202) is configured to determine availability of at least one wireless communication channel, between the vehicle and the remote user interface (201). The control unit (202) being configured to receive an immobilization request from the remote user interface (201) through the available at least one wireless communication channel. The control unit (202) being configured to generate an output signal (205) to immobilize the vehicle (100) upon an authentication of the received immobilization request.
