The control system (200) comprises one or more gauges (101, 102) and a control unit (201). The one or more gauges (101, 102) are configured to monitor a plurality of gauged parameters (P1, P2, P3) of the vehicle (100). The control unit (201) is configured to receive the plurality of gauged parameters (P1, P2, P3) of the vehicle (100) from the one or more gauges (101, 102). The control unit (201) is configured to determine a current weight of the vehicle (100) on the basis of the plurality of gauged parameters (P1, P2, P3) of the vehicle (100) and a data set. The data set is predefined in the vehicle (100).
