Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based context-aware assistive system (100) and a method (200) for providing procedural assistance within institutional environments. The system (100) comprises a user device (102), a communication network (104), and a processing unit (106). The processing unit (106) comprises a data input module (108), a context activation module (110), an input processing module (112), an intent processing module (114), a knowledge management module (116), a workflow execution module (118), a response generation module (120), an output module (122), and a database management module (124). The system receives multimodal user inputs and contextual information, determines an institutional context, and workflow information, generates procedural guidance by mapping the identified user intent to predefined workflow steps, generates context-specific procedural responses, and transmits the generated responses through voice, text, and visual outputs. The database management module (124) manages institutional workflow information, QR code mappings, procedural datasets, and domain-specific information.
