MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611102408 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University on August 25, 2026, for A Context Aware Ai Window Ventilation System Reducing Cooling Energy Consumption.
Inventors include Dr. Arastu Sharma; and Dr. Sohit Agarwal.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a context-aware AI window ventilation system (100) comprising indoor sensors (110), outdoor sensors (120), occupancy detection (130), a window actuator (140), cooling-system interface (150), processing unit (170), AI decision engine (180), and safety module (190). The system evaluates temperature, humidity, air quality, occupancy, weather, window position, and cooling-system status to determine an optimum ventilation state of a window (200). The AI decision engine (180) selectively controls natural ventilation and coordinates mechanical cooling, thereby reducing unnecessary cooling-energy consumption while maintaining thermal comfort, indoor air quality, safety, and adaptive building-specific operation.
