Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a context aware advisory system (100) for personalized myopia intervention. The system comprises a myopia data input module (101) configured to receive behavioral data, environmental data and advisory interaction data and a context aware advisory system (102) configured to process the received data to determine contextual states and context specific compliance. The contextual states comprise one or more of near work, outdoor activity, visual symptom, sleep and recovery and environmental lighting contexts. The system constructs context and compliance information for determining an adaptive intervention policy and an intervention intensity comprising mild, moderate or strong. A personalized myopia advisory output (103) generates an intervention advisory based on the determined policy and intensity. The advisory may comprise break reminders, outdoor reminders, activity guidance, risk alerts, caregiver reports and advisory messages, thereby enabling adaptive myopia intervention according to contextual conditions and compliance characteristics.
