Abstract: A console assembly (100) for a vehicle is disclosed herein. The console assembly (100) may include an inner structure (102), an outer structure, and a connecting member (110). The inner structure (102) may be supported on a floor of the vehicle. The outer structure may be coupled with the inner structure (102) and adapted to enclose the inner structure (102). The outer structure may be adapted to move relative to the inner structure (102) in a vertical direction, based on a force encountered by the outer structure. The connecting member (110) may be formed on the inner structure (102) and may be adapted to be aligned with the outer structure. Herein, the connecting member (110) may be adapted to be pushed by the outer structure such that the connecting member (110) collapses based on the force encountered by the outer structure.
