MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641113932 A) filed by Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute Of Engineering And Technology on September 23, 2026, for A Computer Vision-Based Intelligent Object Detection System Using Deep Learning For Night-Time And Low-Illumination Environments.

Inventor includes Dr. N. Sandhya.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT [0034] Traditional object detection systems experience significant degradation in low-light environments because of insufficient illumination, elevated noise, and loss of structural detail. This project develops an intelligent multi-object detection system that first restores image quality and then performs accurate localization. A deep autoencoder network brightens underexposed images while preserving essential features, after which an Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network refines textures and recovers fine details. The resulting high-quality images are supplied to a robust object detection model that identifies and localizes multiple objects within the scene. The complete pipeline supports real-time analysis and is particularly suited to surveillance, security monitoring, and nighttime automation tasks, improving situational awareness where human visibility is compromised.
