Abstract: ABSTRACT “A COMPUTER VISIO-NBASED AIR CANVAS SYSTEM AND A METHOD THEREOF FOR TOUCHLESS DRAWING USING HAND GESTURES” The present invention relates to a computer-b asedvisi oairn canvas system and a method thereof for enabling touchless drawing using hand gestures. The system utilizes a standard webcam to capture video frames and processes them through image preprocessing, skin segmentation, contour detection, and fingertip localization to track finger movement in real time. The detected fingertip coordinates are used to generate drawing strokes on a virtual canvas, providing immediate visual feedback. The system works without the use of dedicated hardware and machine learning algorithms, providing real- time processing with minimal latency and optimal use of resources. The invention is an easy-to-understand and inexpensive means for using gestures to communicate with computers, useful in educational, medical, and designing applications.
