MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641114212 A) filed by Christ University on September 24, 2026, for A Computer-Implemented System And Method For Predicting Financial Ecosystem Stress In Media Organizations.
Inventors include Dr. Arjun B. S; and Ms. Banu Priya.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to computer-implemented financial risk analytics for media and entertainment organizations. Raw indicators acquired from verifiable public- domain sources, including public records, stock exchange filings, and internet search indicators, are grouped into Revenue Stress, Content Stress, Audience Stress, and Regulatory and Governance Stress pillars, normalized onto a common numerical scale, and converted into respective pillar stress scores. Analytic Hierarchy Process- based weights w1, w2, w3, and w4 are applied through structured pairwise comparison, and a composite stress score engine aggregates the weighted pillar scores into a Financial Ecosystem Stress Score that is classified as Stable, Moderate, Stressed, or Critical. The system provides improved, sector-specific, multi-factor prediction over conventional isolated financial metrics, and may periodically recompute scores for trend monitoring and dashboard-based decision support for management, investors, regulators, and analysts.
