MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641105547 A) filed by Pinni Srinivasa Varma; Naresh Kumar Guntupalli; Kvb Ganesh; and Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation on September 02, 2026, for A Computer-Implemented System And Method For Integrating Green Human Resource Management Practices For Sustainable Organisational Development In Power Sector Utilities.
Inventors include Naresh Kumar Guntupalli; and Kvb Ganesh.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for integrating Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) practices for sustainable organisational development in power sector utilities is disclosed. The system comprises a data acquisition module, data validation module, Green HRM practice classification module, sustainability indicator extraction module, adaptive factor-weighting engine, organisational sustainability analytical engine, prediction and recommendation module, confidence estimation module and adaptive updating mechanism. The system receives heterogeneous employee survey data, human-resource records and utility operational and environmental data, validates the data and classifies it into functional Green HRM categories comprising green recruitment and selection, green training and development, green performance management and compensation, and green employee involvement. Sustainability-indicator features spanning environmental, social, governance and operational dimensions are extracted and combined with the classified Green HRM factors through an adaptive factor-weighting engine to compute a composite Organisational Sustainable Development Index. A prediction and recommendation module generates a sustainable-development output together with prioritised, utility-specific recommendations and an associated confidence score. The invention provides an integrated computational architecture for assessing and improving the contribution of Green HRM practices to sustainable organisational development, with particular application to Telangana and other Indian power sector utilities.
