The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: [039] A computer-implemented digital screening system and method for preliminary risk stratification of polycystic ovary syndrome in adolescents are disclosed. The system receives consented demographic, menarche, menstrual and symptom information and validates input completeness and consistency. A gynecological-age engine computes elapsed time since menarche, and a feature normalization module selects stage-specific transformation rules for menstrual observations while preserving missing-data indicators. A trained machine-learning engine generates a screening estimate that is calibrated and evaluated for uncertainty. A triage module applies configurable thresholds and safety overrides to generate Low Risk, At Risk or Refer for Evaluation outputs, accompanied by an explanation and, where indicated, a clinical referral recommendation. Versioned model and rule configurations, privacy controls and an auditable clinician review interface support reproducible operation. The system provides preliminary decision support and does not independently diagnose polycystic ovary syndrome. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2].
