Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a method that employs a computer for efficiently determining pharmacies that have the availability of the desired product. The present system combines live inventory databases from various retail pharmacies with geospatial mapping tools. When a customer requests a particular medicine or health product, the method uses a matching algorithm to identify pharmacies depending on the availability of the product in terms of stock, dosage and geographical closeness to the customer. The result is a ranked list of pharmacies, which is accompanied by route guidance options. Through combining consumer request with live pharmacy inventory, the system helps in improving search time, avoiding treatment delays, and procurement of health care products. FIG.1
