MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641113175 A) filed by Dr. Y. S. R. Horticultural University on September 21, 2026, for A Composition For Beeswax-Activated Charcoal Leather Care Shoe Polish And Method Of Preparation Thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a composition (100) that comprises 12 to 13 weight percentage of beeswax (102), 24 to 26 weight percentage of activated charcoal (104), 1.5 to 2.5 weight percentage of linseed oil (106), 1.5 to 2.5 weight percentage of castor oil (108), 4.5 to 5.5 weight percentage of coconut oil (110), 0.8 to 1.2 weight percentage of neem oil (112), 0.4 to 0.6 weight percentage of cedarwood oil (114), and 1.8 to 2.2 weight percentage of lemongrass oil (116). The composition (100), when applied to leather surfaces, provides superior odor absorption and antimicrobial protection, conditions and nourishes the leather for enhanced flexibility and durability, and imparts a smooth, long-lasting shine with a stable, spreadable texture suitable for consumer use.
