Abstract: ABSTRACT A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON CONSUMER PREFERENCES OVER GREEN MARKETING INITIATIVES OF ONLINE PLATFORM The proposed innovation introduces a Comparative Consumer Preference Evaluation Framework for Green Marketing Initiatives of Online Platforms (CCPE-GMI) designed to evaluate and compare consumer preferences toward environmentally friendly marketing practices used by online platforms. The framework integrates consumer preference analysis, green product evaluation, sustainable packaging assessment, eco-friendly delivery analysis, digital advertising evaluation, environmental awareness measurement, and customer feedback into a unified evaluation system. Unlike conventional online marketing studies that mainly focus on price, product quality, convenience, and customer satisfaction, the proposed framework gives importance to consumer responses toward green marketing initiatives such as recyclable packaging, paperless billing, eco-friendly delivery, sustainable products, carbon reduction programs, and environmental campaigns. The framework collects information related to consumer awareness, purchase behavior, environmental preferences, trust, willingness to pay, and satisfaction with green initiatives. The collected information is analyzed using comparative scoring, preference analysis, customer segmentation, and trend evaluation. The proposed innovation helps online platforms understand which green marketing practices are preferred by different groups of consumers and supports better sustainable marketing decisions. The framework can be applied to e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, food delivery platforms, online retail companies, digital service providers, and other internet-based businesses.
