Abstract: The present invention relates to a compact multi-functional paper punching and document holding device. The mechanical device comprising a base, a support box, a spring-loaded punching rod, a cap, an anchor-string locking mechanism and an auxiliary pressing plate assembly. During operation a stack of papers is located on the base. The user presses the ergonomically constructed cap, which causes the rod to go downwards against the spring force and punch the papers. The anchor is pulled and fastened through the internal thread to keep the punched sheets after punching. The pressing plate component keeps the paper stack from moving up and provides stability. It’s small, reusable and portable, but it also eliminates the need for separate staplers, paper punches and clips. It's made of durable material parts for strength and corrosion resistance, and the string is a flexible locking arrangement. The rod is returned automatically by a spring after each punching operation and can be reused again and again. This integrated solution streamlines the office processes, decreases the stationery consumption, minimizes the clutter on workplaces and provides an inexpensive and environment friendly alternative to the standard paper fastening methods.
