The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a combination of lyophilized Allium cepa L. bulb juice, L-citrulline and L-norvaline in a 50:25:25 weight ratio, the three constituents being dissolved together in 1% w/v sodium carboxymethylcellulose and administered orally. Administered at 1000 mg/kg/day (500:250:250 mg/kg) for seven days to streptozotocin-nicotinamide-induced diabetic male Sprague-Dawley rats, the combination improved sexual behaviour and biochemical parameters comparably to sildenafil citrate (5 mg/kg). In diabetic rats it reduced mount latency from 120.7 to 50.3 s, intromission latency from 174.3 to 74.2 s and ejaculation latency from 559.2 to 345.0 s, and raised intromission frequency from 2.50 to 9.67 (all p 0.0001 versus diabetic control). Serum testosterone rose from 9.87 to 20.47 pg/mL and penile nitric oxide from 11.28 to 17.13 nmol/mL, while penile PDE-5 fell from 0.78 to 0.41 ng/mL and superoxide dismutase and catalase partially recovered.
