Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an armrest console (100) for a vehicle. The armrest console (100) includes a storage portion (110) having a pair of walls (110-1) disposed opposite to each other. A deformable cover (120) is disposed on each of the wall (110-1), from among the pair of walls (110-1). The deformable cover (120) includes a mounting portion (150) which is disposed on the deformable cover (120) and is adapted to receive a fastening member (140) disposed on each of the wall (110-1), to couple the deformable cover (120) with the wall (110-1). The mounting portion (150) is configured to dislodge the deformable cover (120) from the wall (110-1) to laterally spread the deformable cover (120), upon application of an external force over an armrest (115) of the armrest console (100). The armrest console (100) helps in arresting impact to a head of a rear-seat passenger during accidents.
