Abstract: A COATING FOR HYDROGEN-FUELED INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF The present invention relates to a multilayer coating for hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engine, comprising an Aluminium Matrix Composite (AMC) configured to be coated on metal substrate, wherein the AMC comprises uniformly distributed hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) and silicon carbide (SiC). The present further relates to a method for preparation of the multilayer coating, wherein the method comprises the steps of heating the molten AMC that comprises uniformly distributed h-BN and SiC followed by applying, the AMC on a metal substrate and lastly treating by a plasma-based heating technique in oxidative environment to form the columnar intermediate layer of FeAl with h- BN & SiC particles and the top Al2O3 layer.
