The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A COAL WEIGHING SYSTEM The present invention discloses a coal weighing system (10) for measuring the exact amount of loading/unloading of coal from mud bucket to wagons. The coal weighing system (10) comprises a mud bucket (15) houses a plurality of seriously connected load cells. The load cells (20) configured to measure the exact amount of carrying coal for loading or unloading from mud bucket to wagon. The mud bucket is having a RFID reader at its front side. The RFID tag (40) can be positioned at each rail wagon/compartment for exactly receiving the required amount of coal to be dispensed from the mud bucket. The microcontroller (25) is configured to coordinate and execute the operations of measured loading/unloading of coal by means of RFID tag/reader and load cells. The user interface module (30) is configured to check/display the details of loaded/unloaded amount of coal at each compartment/wagons by means of predefined instructions. The buzzer (45) is configured to alert the operators when the detection of excessive loading of coal in a specific compartment/wagon. The present invention (10) will reduce the wastages of coal due to excessive loading in the rail wagons.
