MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611076973 A) filed by Manipal University Jaipur on June 22, 2026, for A Cloud-Based Ai Behavioral Biometric Typing Rhythm Authentication And Intrusion Detection.

Inventors include Devershi Pallavi Bhatt; and Kirty Shekhawat.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-driven behavioral biometric authentication system for continuous user authentication and intrusion detection. The system comprises a keystroke capture module, a feature extraction module, a behavioral profiling module, a machine learning module, an anomaly detection module, a risk scoring module, and a response module. The keystroke capture module collects typing rhythm data during login and active user sessions. The feature extraction module derives dwell time, flight time, typing speed, key press force, error correction behavior, and keystroke timing intervals. The behavioral profiling module generates and updates a unique typing signature for each user. The machine learning module authenticates users based on the typing signature. The anomaly detection module identifies deviations from normal typing behavior. The risk scoring module generates a risk score, and the response module initiates alerts, access restrictions, session termination, or multi-factor authentication to enhance security.
