Abstract: The invention relates to a closing means (10) for closing an open side of a flexible package. The closing means (10) comprises a surface material blank (14) with a first permanently adhesive surface (17) on its first longitudinal edge and a second permanently adhesive surface (17) on its second longitudinal edge. A tackifier surface (16) is provided between the permanently adhesive surfaces (17, 17). The closing means (10) also comprises two cardboard strips (11, 12) glued onto the surface material blank (14) in the longitudinal direction. The first cardboard strip (11) comprises a non-adhesive surface (15) aligned with the tackifier surface (16) in the longitudinal direction. The second cardboard strip (12) is aligned with the second permanently adhesive surface (17) in the longitudinal direction. The invention also relates to a flexible package (70) provided with a closing means (70), and a method for manufacturing the closing means (10, 70).
