MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621056174 A) filed by Mahesh Govind Karmalkar on May 03, 2026, for A Closed-Loop Ai-Regulated Mechanical System For Conditional Vertical Airflow Induction In Stagnant Air Environments.
Inventor includes Mahesh Govind Karmalkar.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a closed-loop, AI-regulated mechanical system for reducing residence time of a localized air mass within a defined air zone by inducing controlled vertical airflow. The system is operable irrespective of the composition, density, particulate content, or chemical characteristics of the air mass, and is configured to act on air movement parameters rather than compositional properties. The system comprises a vertical induction structure, a rotor assembly configured to generate upward airflow, a peripheral flow-conditioning structure for regulating horizontal air movement, and one or more sensing modules operatively coupled to a control unit. The control unit is configured to detect air stagnation based on predefined movement thresholds and to conditionally activate the rotor assembly to induce vertical airflow. The vertical induction structure further includes passive air- guiding intake configurations arranged at multiple vertical levels to ingest air from stratified layers, and a flow conduit configured to guide and accelerate upward airflow. Internal flow-conditioning elements and optional flow-modifying structures are provided to stabilize airflow and reduce turbulence. The system operates dynamically by activating airflow induction upon detection of stagnation and ceasing operation upon attainment of predefined airflow thresholds, thereby enabling efficient disruption of stagnant air zones and promoting vertical mixing while minimizing horizontal redistribution and energy consumption.
