Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: A CLASSICAL DANCE TEACHING AND MONITORING SYSTEM A classical dance teaching and monitoring system that integrates multimodal analysis of expressions (Abhinaya), hand gestures (Mudras), rhythmic patterns (Tala), postures, and foot pressure for inclusive and personalized learning; wherein the system (100) comprises an input acquisition layer (10) with 2D camera (30), LiDAR cameras (40), sensors (50), and input devices (20); a processing unit (60) featuring a training and testing module (61), coordinate normalization and temporal processing module (62), feature extraction module (63), and classification and rule-based matching module (64); and a feedback layer (70) with output display (80). The feature extraction module incorporates six key analyzers for expression, gesture, tala, posture, shloka summarizer, and pressure. Using computer vision, machine learning, and NLP techniques, the system provides real-time, structured feedback through visual, textual, and haptic means. It supports 2D, LiDAR, and sensor-based models, enhancing accessibility for underprivileged and neurodiverse learners, including children with autism.
