The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A chorionic bilayered nanocomposite scaffold (100) for guided alveolar bone and soft tissue repair is disclosed, comprising an osteogenic layer (101) comprising a decellularized extracellular matrix (105) derived from a chorionic membrane of human placental origin and an osteogenic nanoparticle composition (101A) configured to promote bone formation and mineral deposition, and a barrier layer (103) comprising the decellularized extracellular matrix (105) derived from a chorionic membrane of human placental origin and an antimicrobial nanoparticulate agent (103B) configured to inhibit microbial colonisation and biofilm formation, wherein the osteogenic layer (101) and the barrier layer (103) are integrally bonded by sequential freeze casting to obtain a bioresorbable occlusive scaffold having osteogenic and antimicrobial properties attributable to the trophoblast-origin chorionic extracellular matrix substrate, for guided alveolar bone formation and infection control.
