The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart charging and energy redistribution system for electric vehicles. A multi-port charging hub with common DC bus is connected to the grid through bidirectional converter and to a plurality of electric vehicles through bidirectional charging modules. A site controller collects vehicle information, including state of charge and departure time, as well as grid and renewable-energy data, and computes optimal charging and discharging setpoints for each port. The system can not only charge vehicles from the grid or on-site storage, but also redistribute energy between vehicles by discharging selected donor vehicles and charging recipient vehicles, subject to user-defined reserve and battery-health constraints. Optional stationary storage further supports peak shaving and renewable buffering. All energy transactions are measured, time-stamped and associated with vehicle identifiers for secure billing and fleet management. The invention improves grid friendliness, user convenience and overall utilisation of stored energy in electric-vehicle installations.
