MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073648 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for A Cell-Centric Battery Reconfiguration System And Method.
Inventor includes Ankur Jain.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A CELL-CENTRIC BATTERY RECONFIGURATION SYSTEM AND METHOD A cell-centric battery reconfiguration system (100) and method (200) are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a plurality of electrochemical cells (102), one or more enclosure structures (104), and an electrical reconfiguration architecture (106) defining electrical connectivity (108) among the electrochemical cells (102). The electrical reconfiguration architecture (106) is established according to identities of the electrochemical cells (102) and remains unchanged despite modification of enclosure topology (116). A cell-centric battery system (110) includes an electrical topology model (112) defining electrical relationships among the electrochemical cells (102), wherein the electrical topology model (112) is maintained independently of enclosure topology (116), and the enclosure structures (104) constitute a physical containment layer (114) separate from the electrical topology model (112). The method (200) comprises providing (202) electrochemical cells (102), establishing (204) an electrical reconfiguration topology, physically containing (206) the electrochemical cells (102) within enclosure structures (104), and maintaining the electrical reconfiguration topology despite enclosure topology modifications. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
