Abstract: The present invention relates to a carbon footprint monitoring and forecasting system. this computerized framework for tracking and predicting carbon footprints from human activities. The system enables users to input data regarding transport, energy consumption, and lifestyle, which is processed through emission factors to calculate present carbon emissions. A front-end interface (101) captures user input, while an API communication layer (102) transmits data to a backend processing unit (103). The central processing layer (104) coordinates activities, including a carbon footprint calculation module (105) and a machine learning prediction module (106). Data preprocessing is handled by a processing module (107), with datasets stored in a storage layer (108). Results are maintained in a database and visualization layer (109) for user comprehension. The system provides accurate forecasts of future emissions based on historical records, offers user-friendly dashboards, and supports scalability for integration with external APIs. Figure 1 illustrates the modular architecture (100–109) of the intelligent carbon footprint monitoring system.
