Abstract: ABSTRACT A CANOPY WITH INTERLOCKING PORTIONS AND LINEAR LOCKING MECHANISM The present disclosure provides a canopy apparatus comprising a top portion (101) and a bottom portion (102) configured to support the top portion. The apparatus includes a plurality of interlocking means on the top portion (101) and the bottom portion (102), configured to align and connect the top and bottom portions (102). At least one linearly slidable locking member (105) is integrated into the bottom portion (102), movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The top portion (101) have a sloped surface, and the bottom portion (102) may include at least one receiving channel (104). The top portion (101) comprises plurality of flanges (103) configured to mate with the receiving channel (104) when aligned. Multiple linearly slidable locking members (105) may be positioned on front, back, left, and right sides of the bottom portion (102), with actuation mechanisms enabling movement between positions.
