Abstract: A Campus Placement Management System (CPMS) and associated method are disclosed for automating and optimising the end-to-end campus recruitment lifecycle. The system comprises a Smart Placement Kiosk (110) for QR-code and biometric-based candidate check-in, a Student Mobile Application (120) for profile management and real-time drive notifications, a Recruiter Dashboard (200) for AI-assisted candidate shortlisting and result recording, and a Placement Officer Dashboard (300) for database administration and accreditation-compliant report generation. Central to the invention is an AI-based Matching Engine (400) that extracts multi-dimensional feature vectors from student profiles and job requirement profiles using natural language processing, applies a rule-based eligibility filter, computes cosine similarity scores between student and job vectors, and outputs a ranked candidate list to recruiters. A feedback loop continuously recalibrates matching accuracy from post-recruitment outcomes. All data is secured via TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. The invention eliminates manual placement management, reduces scheduling and eligibility errors, and enables intelligent, data-driven candidate–job alignment within a single unified digital platform.
