Abstract: ABSTRACT A CABLE SEAL The present disclosure envisages a cable seal (100). The cable seal (100) comprises a seal body (102) having a polymeric first body portion (104) and a polymeric second body portion (106) attached to each other to define an enclosed housing having a cable passage (108) extending therethrough. The cable seal (100) further comprises a cable (110) having a first end (110A) attached to the seal body (102) and a free second end (110B) configured to form a loop around at least one portion of an article to be sealed. The second end (110B) is configured to be inserted into the cable passage (108) in an operative configuration of the cable seal (100). A locking means (112) is provided in the enclosed housing proximal to the cable passage (108) to lockingly secure the second end (110B) therein, thereby providing a tamper-evident seal.
