The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: A bushing joint assembly (10) for vehicle suspension systems comprises a housing (13) having a through-opening (13a). An elastomeric bushing (11) is embedded at a centre portion of a straddle pin (18) and a bearing race (17) is embedded on either side of the elas-tomeric bushing. The straddle pin, elastomeric bushing and the bearing race is press-fitted into the through-opening of the housing. A first groove (13b) is formed in the housing to seat a retaining ring (12) to retain and lock the elastomeric bushing (11) within the housing (13). A retaining ring restraint mechanism (20, 21, 22) is assembled within the housing and adjacent the retaining ring (12). The retaining ring restraint mechanism is assembled with a pre-determined tensile force at a circumferential interface between an inner surface of the housing and the retaining ring restraint mechanism. The housing includes a total groove depth d to accommodate both the first groove and a thickness of the retainer ring restraint mechanism. FIG. 5A
