Abstract: Disclosed is a façade with building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) (100) comprising glazing with one or more BIPV modules (106) disposed therein. The one or more BIPV modules (106) are arranged with a frame set (101, 102), such that the frame set (101, 102) incorporates an electrical distribution setup (200) for providing a safe and reliable means of transmitting electricity from the one or more BIPV modules (106) and facilitates transmission of both data and power. It further discloses a solution for retrofitting active elements inclusive of BIPV modules in façade.
