Abstract: “A BREATHABLE TEXTILE WITH OCTAGONAL CELLS” The present invention relates to a breathable textile (100) with octagonal cells. The textile (100) is made of three layers including a first layer (104), a second layer (108) and a third layer (112). The first layer (104) is an outermost layer, the second layer (108) is a central layer and the third layer (112) is an innermost layer of the textile (100). The first layer (104) and the third layer (112) is composed of polyester and spandex. The second layer (108) is composed of polyester material. The second layer (108) includes a plurality of through cells (116) that are preferably octagon shaped. The second layer (108) is advantageously breathable due to the cells (116) that allow body fluids such as perspiration to be released out efficiently due to increased airflow.
