Abstract: The present invention relates to a braking system 100 of a vehicle (10). The braking system (100) comprises a motor (102), a disc (104), and one or more electromagnets (106). The disc (104) mounted on the rotor. The disc 104 is configured to replicate a movement of the the rotor. The one or more electromagnets (106) are disposed on the disc (106). The electromagnets (106) are configured to induce eddy current in the disc (104) based on a braking input, and the induced eddy current is configured to generate a specific braking force to assist in the deceleration of the vehicle (10).
