Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a brake pedal structure (100) which comprising a support member (10) and an arm (30) defined with a first part (32) pivotally coupled to the support member (10) and a second part (34) coupled to a brake actuator (40). A plurality of coupling elements (50a, 50b) is configured to couple the first part 10 (32) and the second part (34) with one another to form a single arm structure in a normal working condition. Further, the plurality of coupling elements (50a, 50b) is configured to be separated into at least two parts in response to an impact load received in an impact load condition to disengage the second part (34) from the first part (32) for preventing the movement of the second part (34) towards a rear side 15 of the vehicle, thereby minimizes injury to legs of a driver in the impact load condition.
