Abstract: The present invention relates to a brake lamp life prediction and fault detection system for a vehicle (10) configured to monitor electrical parameters of a brake lamp circuit and estimate remaining useful life prior to failure. The system includes a voltage sensor (14) connected across the brake lamp circuit to measure real-time voltage and a current sensor (16) connected in series to measure current flow during brake activation. Measured signals are transmitted to a Data Acquisition and Control Unit (18) which processes the signals and determines electrical resistance through a resistance calculation module (20). Resistance variation across successive braking cycles is analyzed to detect progressive degradation of the lamp. A battery compensation module (22) normalizes measurements to account for vehicle battery fluctuations. A machine learning module (24) estimates remaining useful life using resistance trends and operational parameters, calibrated through an accelerated life testing calibration module (26). When remaining useful life falls below a threshold, a dashboard alert indicator (28) is activated and diagnostic data may be transmitted via a wireless communication module (30) to a mobile device (32).
