The system includes an ultracapacitor energy storage module (110) configured to store regenerative braking energy when battery state- of-charge exceeds a threshold or charging is restricted. The AI-powered controller (104) dynamically routes regenerative energy between the battery and ultracapacitor based on real-time battery conditions and power demand. A fail-safe mechanism (112) ensures braking functionality upon electronic system failure.
