Abstract: The present system discloses a Blockchain-Secured IoT Framework with Machine Learning-Based Intrusion Detection for Smart Home Networks that enhances cybersecurity, privacy, and reliability in connected smart home environments. The proposed architecture integrates consortium blockchain, edge computing, federated learning, and a hybrid CNN-BiLSTM intrusion detection engine to provide decentralized device authentication, immutable communication logging, and intelligent cyberattack detection. IoT devices are securely registered using blockchain smart contracts, while edge gateways perform real-time network traffic analysis to identify malicious activities such as spoofing, DDoS attacks, malware, and unauthorized access. Federated learning enables collaborative model improvement without exposing sensitive user data, and smart contracts automatically update device trust scores and isolate compromised devices. Experimental evaluation using benchmark intrusion detection datasets demonstrates improved accuracy, reduced detection latency, and enhanced scalability compared with conventional methods. The proposed framework provides an integrated, privacy-preserving, and resilient cybersecurity solution suitable for next-generation smart home IoT networks.
