Abstract: The present invention relates to an advanced blockchain-integrated agricultural supply chain quality assessment system with an AI-based defect detection engine designed to enhance transparency, traceability, and quality monitoring in agricultural product distribution networks. Agricultural supply chains often face challenges such as inconsistent quality assessment, lack of traceability, manual inspection errors, and data manipulation across multiple stakeholders including farmers, storage facilities, transporters, distributors, and regulatory authorities. The proposed system addresses these limitations by integrating artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and blockchain technology into a unified digital monitoring platform. The processed quality assessment data and environmental monitoring information are transmitted to a blockchain-based storage module where each transaction is recorded as a cryptographically secured block in a distributed ledger. This mechanism ensures tamper-proof storage of supply chain data and enables end-to-end traceability of agricultural products from farm to market. A cloud-based analytics platform further processes the recorded information to generate quality reports, predictive insights, and automated alerts for stakeholders. By combining artificial intelligence for automated defect detection and blockchain technology for secure data management, the proposed invention improves supply chain transparency, reduces manual inspection errors, minimizes food wastage, and enhances consumer confidence in agricultural product quality. The system provides a scalable and reliable framework for digital transformation in modern agricultural supply chain management.
