Inventors include Dr. Satyabrata Roy; and Dr. Ankur Pandey.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a blockchain-based healthcare data integrity and analytics system for secure, transparent, and tamper-resistant management of healthcare information. The system comprises a data acquisition module for collecting healthcare data from electronic health records, pharmaceutical supply chains, clinical systems, logistics platforms, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and medical databases; a blockchain ledger module for recording each healthcare event as an immutable distributed transaction; a data preprocessing module for data normalization and validation; a Big Data analytics engine employing artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to detect anomalies, identify counterfeit products, predict operational risks, and generate healthcare intelligence; a smart contract engine for automated workflow validation and stakeholder authorization; an IoT monitoring module for tracking environmental and logistics parameters; an off-chain encrypted storage module for storing large healthcare records while maintaining blockchain references; a dashboard module for real-time monitoring, traceability, compliance reporting, and predictive analytics; and a continuous learning module for improving anomaly detection models using verified healthcare data. The proposed system enhances healthcare data integrity, prevents unauthorized modifications and fraud, improves pharmaceutical supply chain transparency, automates regulatory compliance, and provides scalable, secure, and reliable healthcare data management across distributed healthcare networks.
