The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: A blockchain enabled intelligent public transportation infrastructure is disclosed for computing authoritative occupancy intelligence based on transport events generated by Electronic Ticket Machine devices. The system comprises of ETM devices, synchronization middleware, permissioned blockchain infrastructure, occupancy intelligence engine, routing engine, reconciliation engine, passenger application, and government operational dashboard. Route segment occupancy, crowd density, seat availability, and transport load conditions will be computed dynamically using transport events generated by ETMs and historical operational patterns. Dynamic routing will be achieved using seat-aware transport recommendation computation based on occupancy intelligence, congestion analytics, ETA prediction, and multi-bus interchange analysis. Blockchain infrastructure will store an immutable record of the transport activities and reconciliation logs to enable transport audit and operational transparency. Reconciliation engine per
