MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611092211 A) filed by Chitkara University on July 29, 2026, for A Blockchain-Based Multi-Gas Sensor Fusion And Active Ventilation Safety System.
Inventor includes Dr. Ayush Dogra.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention a blockchain-based multi-gas sensor fusion and active ventilation safety system (100) is disclosed for protecting an enclosed space (180). A multi-gas sensor unit comprising an LPG sensor (104), methane sensor (106), carbon-monoxide sensor (108), oxygen sensor (110), and temperature-humidity sensor (112) supplies conditioned signals to a microcontroller (120). The microcontroller (120) generates a fused hazard state using concentration, rate-of-rise, cross-sensor agreement, pressure, and flow information. For a minor abnormality, a proportional trim valve (132) is adjusted and the condition is verified. For a persistent or critical leak, a normally closed shut-off valve (130) isolates a gas source (178), an emergency contactor (194) isolates ignition-capable loads, and an exhaust fan (140) with a ventilation damper (142) evacuates hazardous gas. A secure element (158) signs event records stored in a local event buffer (160) and subsequently anchors record digests to a blockchain ledger without affecting autonomous
