Abstract: A biosensor-based Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) system/kit for detection of African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) comprises green-synthesized silver nanoparticles conjugated to ASAFVp72 antibody sourced from hyperimmune sera raised by any of recombinant pET28-ASFVp72 protein SEQ ID NO. 4 and engineered peptide SEQ ID NO. 3 specific to ASFV. Presence of ASFV antigens in the test sample triggers a color change visible to the naked eye, enabling easy interpretation of results avoiding the need for complex instruments and trained personnels. The system is storage stable for 3 months while storing at 15-25° C. Fig. 8
