Abstract: A biometric-based wearable system (100) and method for child safety utilize an ESP32 controller (102) to locally process multi-sensor data without transmitting raw biometrics to external servers. The system (100) features a wearable body (116) housing a lithium polymer battery (114), a user interface, and a sensor array comprising a MAX30102 sensor (104), a galvanic skin response sensor (106), an MPU6050 motion sensor (108), a BMP280 sensor (110), and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor (112). An integrated Wi-Fi module executes RSSI-based proximity estimation relative to a local access point, bypassing GPS. The ESP32 controller (102) executes a multi- sensor data fusion algorithm with sensor voting logic to validate danger conditions, reducing false alarms and implements a dual alerting scheme offering autonomous panic and perimeter alerts, while dynamically adjusting an adaptive safe zone range based on the child's real-time physical and emotional stress levels.
