Abstract: A biocompatible injectable hydrogel for localized therapy is disclosed. The hydrogel includes a sterile precursor reservoir, a gel forming polymer component, a crosslinking component, a therapeutic agent loading module, a mixing interface, and an injection device configured to form an in situ hydrogel matrix at a selected treatment site. The matrix retains the therapeutic agent locally and provides sustained release through controlled hydration, crosslink density, diffusion, and degradation. The system supports minimally invasive placement, tissue conformability, and adaptable pharmaceutical loading.
