Abstract: ABSTRACT [0039] The present invention relates to a biodegradable, bio-based adhesive and light-diffusing film derived from plant-origin materials, particularly processing waste of Aloe vera. The invention converts Aloe vera peel, gel residue, and 10 fibrous biomass into a thin, flexible, and translucent film suitable for adhesive layers, protective coatings, and ambient light diffusion applications. The bio-film composition comprises 40-60% (w/w) homogenized Aloe vera waste paste, 15- 25% (w/w) plant-based binders including starch or polysaccharides, 5-10% (w/w) glycerol as a plasticizer, and 1-3% (w/w) stabilizing agents selected from acetic 15 acid or citric acid. Natural pigment extract derived from Spirulina is incorporated in the range of 1-5% (w/w) to impart bluish-green coloration and light-filtering properties. Optional plant-derived gums may be added to enhance adhesion. The process includes homogenization, blending, controlled heating, casting into thin sheets, and drying to obtain biodegradable, non-toxic, and eco-friendly films1
