Abstract: ABSTRACT A BIO-DERIVED LUMINESCENT NANOMATERIAL COMPOSITION FOR HIGH-RESOLUTION SURFACE IMAGING AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF The present invention discloses a luminescent nanomaterial composition 108 for advanced surface-resolved imaging, particularly suited for detecting trace organic residues on varied substrates. The method 100 begins with a mixture of biomass-based carbon precursors 101, followed by sterilization 102, filtration 103, and centrifuge separation 104 to isolate active fractions. The supernatant is homogenized through stirring 105 and subjected to controlled incubation 106, yielding a stable nanostructure. The dried product is processed by grinding 107 to obtain nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots 108 with high-contrast visible photoluminescence. The composition is non-toxic, metal-free, and exhibits selective adhesion to organic contaminants, making it ideal for forensic visualization, environmental mapping, and contamination tracking. The photoluminescent agent 108 provides tunable emission profiles, resistance to photobleaching, and superior contrast across substrates. It enables enhanced spatial resolution, minimal background interference, and scalability in production, thereby overcoming limitations of conventional luminescent agents in real-time, high-sensitivity imaging.
