MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411089108 A) filed by Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research An Indian on November 18, 2024, for A Bio-Based Multi-Analyte Sensing Platform.
Inventors include Pawankumar Rai; Srishti Mehrotra; Smriti Priya; and Sandeep Kumar Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a bio-based multi-analyte sensing platform and a process for the preparation thereof. The sensor utilizes a platform made from polylactic acid. The working and counter electrode of the sensing system are engraved with chitosan-carbon nanofiber slurry, on the surface of polylactic acid. The connectors and reference electrode are made of copper film. The composition, arrangement, and utilization protocol of the platform makes it a powerful tool for simultaneous detection and analysis of multiple analytes. Once prepared, the platform can be utilized in various applications such as environmental monitoring, medical diagnostics, food safety, and quality control. With its wide range of applications and numerous advantages, this bio-based multi-analyte sensing platform has the potential to revolutionize the field of analytical chemistry and biotechnology.
