Abstract: The present invention relates to a beeswax-coated plant fiber–natural resin bio-composite for biodegradable fluid conveyance system. The present invention includes a plant fiber, an acacia gum, a glycerol, a citric acid, a natural preservative and a beeswax. The plant fiber includes a Colocasia (Colocasia esculenta) having concentration of 30% w/w, a banana pseudostem (Musa spp.) having concentration of 50% w/w and a Calotropis (Calotropis gigantea) having concentration of 20% w/w. The acacia gum having concentration in the range of 10-15% w/v. The glycerol having concentration in the range of 2-3% v/v. The citric acid having concentration in the range of 0.5-1% w/v. The beeswax having concentration in the range of 3-5% w/w. The bio-composite is fully biodegradable, non-toxic, substantially free from synthetic polymers, and capable of conveying fluids under low to medium pressure conditions while maintaining structural integrity during use and undergoing degradation after disposal without formation of microplastics.
